Applications are now being received for the 2018 Homer and Margaret Surbeck Summer Scholarship Program
In order to promote and support scholarly activity, Judson University has established the Homer and Margaret Surbeck Summer Research Program. Full-time faculty members are invited to submit proposals for a summer research stipend, which will be awarded on a competitive basis.
To apply, candidates should submit a letter of interest, a copy of their vita (shortened to two pages), and a one to two page description of their proposed research or project. The candidate’s description should include a clear explanation of the proposed outcome(s), and the projected timing for the completion of the project (book, chapter, journal article, artistic presentation, etc.).
Priority will be given to applicants who have not received the Surbeck Scholarship in the last three years. Recipients will be expected to present the results of their research or project in one or more public forums.
Applications should be sent as a single PDF to: Dr. Jhennifer A. Amundson, Associate Provost of Faculty (JAmundson@JudsonU.edu), by noon on March 12, 2018.
Congratulations, Dr. Josh Jones, recipient of the 2018 scholarship!
